Highly impressive writing. I will be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the beginning. It felt a little bored but I continued because the characters felt realistic. As the story opened up and more characters joined Eliza and Matthew like the siren, I fell in love with it. The author did a lot of research and added flourishes to make her story stand out. My favorite scene was the list of how to slay a slayer. I laughed so hard! I look forward to reading next books in the series.
I recommend for 18+ readers who love to read about vampires.
