Book Review: That Night (Nadira Holden, Demon Hunter #2)

Book Title: That Night (Nadira Holden, Demon Hunter #2) ad

Book Author: Azaaa Davis

Rating: 4.5 Dragon Paws 5-paws

Book 2 in the Nadira Holden series. A fun read. From book 1 we know that Nadira has been dead for a while and was resurrected into a world she doesn’t recognize. Many things changed. It’s great reading how she copes with the changes and what she learns about herself in the process. There’s love and pain. There’s fighting for her life and then there’s depression. Can make a reader feel sad and excited.

Book Review: Psychic Undercover (With The Undead)

Book Author: Amie Gibbons

A fun read! It was great seeing how the main gal used her psychic skills in her work environment and how she communicated with the men in her life. Getting memories from touch from people would be super cool. It was good to see a boss being a boss. The boss reminded me of Gibbs from NCIS. There’s laughs and tears and I bet the next books in the series are just as awesome.

Warning – Has rape, mental and physical abuse. If you can’t handle reading books with those characteristics please don’t pick it up. It’s a hard read otherwise.

For 18+ readers who like to read paranormal romance.

It’s a hard book to get into because it starts dark, but after a while it made me smile. The relationships built in the book between the characters is really awesome. I can’t really choose a favorite character and I really tried! I wonder how dragon blood tastes like… hmm

I had this book on my kindle for a while and finally read it. Not bad at all. There’s two more books in the series. This book has you on edge and really fun read, although at times dark. For paranormal readers for sure. ^_^ I do wish there were images of the actual runes.

Love being back at Nocturne Falls. Okay, this story was a real surprise. I’ve seen the old show Gargoyles (not everything) and this take on gargoyles and their history with the fae is a great take. It was a good read and seeing characters from the first books appearing is awesome. I wondered how the story would go when I realized the main heroes and I wasn’t disappointed.

Love being back at Nocturne Falls. Such a fun place to be. I read the first book maybe seven times. It was great getting to know the Sheriff and his match plus a ton of surprises. I would love to live in a town that is Halloween all year round with real monsters.

This book is perfect for teens and who are into popular songs, teenage talk, horses, and growing up. This one is one long ride so get ready to read for a couple of nights for sure. It makes you feel young and you learn lots of new words.

I recommend this book to teens who think are they are invisible. There’s a great lesson to be learned from the characters – when you find your right crowd, things fall into place. Good luck to teens!

That is my favorite line from the book. It’s a slow read but really engaging. The author is a wiz when it comes to descriptions of places. Even though I guessed about the bad guy, it was a thrill to see how it all came together. If I say any more about the characters, I may give some spoilers so I’ll close my mouth. The title is perfect and connects to both main characters on a real level. A great read and totally worth the time.
