This is a novel about a young vampire who is not a vampire, who is a free being and is allowed to live on the shifter’s territory.

I would recommend this novel to those who like main characters to be vampires and like love triangles. This novel has been recommended to me, and I am sad to report that I did not like it as much as I was supposed to, considering that she told me that the book has great reviews. The pacing of the novel may not be for everyone.

I have to give credit to Selena though. She created a very likable character in Mercer and she was able to hurt him, the most out of all the characters. That’s something that I would not be able to do to a favorite character of mine, though I did put a character through torture for my crime fiction novel…
