Angelina Monday – Places which inspire my writing

Wow! I haven’t really thought this much about places in my life. *Thinks hard*

Rose Garden- Over the years, I have visited several rose gardens. All of them are amazing. They allow one to relax, breathe in the aroma, and people watch. I’ve seen weddings, graduations, and family outings. Over hearing conversations is considered to be rude, but if you sit down on a bench or grass… it’s hard not to, so sometimes the patrons can be an inspiration.

Solvang, California – One of my favorite places is Solvang. It’s positioned between a casino and an ostrich farm. The small Danish themed town is really about three streets. It doesn’t have huge stores or movie theatre. All stores (not counting the wineries) close pretty early so you’re left to roam the streets, drink wine, or rest in your hotel room. The best time to visit is during Winter holidays because most stores put out a Christmas tree and all of them are decorated differently! It’s been an inspiration for my holiday themed stories and places in my books like – bakeries.

Grand Canyon – I’ve been lucky enough to visit the Grand Canyon three times. Whenever, I’m stuck on a paragraph or two, I like thinking about the views that I remember from my visits. It’s also a hard memory because we know of one man who died there when he saved a child. His death always makes me think about my surroundings and how things can happen out of nowhere. Also, if anyone remembers watching The Flintstones, but there’s an episode when they see the ‘future grand canyon’ which helps my thinking process – What were things like for a location 10 years ago…. 20 years ago….100 years ago. When it comes to writing fiction, one still have to make sure if people had toilets for instance in 1400 and how different they are from today.

Millennium Park, Chicago – This park is huge!!!! My feet hurt when I visited it, but it’s very memorable and sometimes I think about it when I write. Each part of the park has own vibe. Whenever, I need to think about writing about a huge event in a story or one that involves a lot of characters, I think back to the people who explored the park on the day I visited.

There are probably a lot more locations, but for now, I hope you enjoyed reading about places that I consider to be an inspiration.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW FRIDAY – WITH Justin Scott

Hello! Today with us we have the amazing Justin Scott! *Applause*

Angelina: Introduce yourself please.

Justin: My name is Justin and I’ve written books under a variety of pen names.

Angelina: Did someone inspire you to become an author?

Justin: I drew inspiration from my frustration. I always felt that there was something missing, something lacking and was inspired to take matters into my own hands and imagination, creating what you may know and love today.

Angelina: How long does it take for you to write a story?

Justin: If I stay focused I can do a full novel in less than a month.

Angelina: Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

Justin: My brain. Truly a minefield of historical data and fictional escape.

Angelina: What does your family think of your writing?

Justin: My family doesn’t know any of my books, except my aunt on my biological father’s side of family. She bought copy of it and waiting to hear what she thought of it.

Angelina: How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

Justin: I’ve written and published five of them. I don’t have a favorite one, because there all a part of me.

Angelina: Who’s your favorite character you created?

Justin: Myself through the poetry I’ve written that I’m getting ready to publish. Those words are both me, and at the same time many sides of me.

Angelina: Who’s your least favorite character you created?

Justin: Haven’t had a least favorite character yet. All of them have been fun.

Angelina: Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

Justin: I don’t hear from them at all. Even if I did to me it wouldn’t make a difference. Writing is a journey of self discovery and isolation all wrapped into one. As such the path to written creativity is one that only we as the author should care with what we have to say about the novels we produce.

Angelina: What do you think makes a good story?

Justin: Being honest with what you write.

Angelina: Tell us about your WIP.

Justin: It’s about a college freshman who goes on a self journey of being a slut.

Angelina: Thank you for hanging out with us. Please share your social links where readers can follow you.

Justin: I don’t have any lol.

BOOK CHARACTER INTERVIEW WITH Hudson, BY Sammi Mason

Hello! Today with us we have the amazing Hudson! *Applause*

Angelina: What is your full name? Do you have a nickname (if so, who calls you this)?

Hudson: Hudson but I’ve called many things my favorite is Oh My F*cking God… Yesssss! My mate.

Angelina: Which book are you from? Who’s your creator and what do you think of him?

Hudson: Overseer’s Fierce Mate. My creator wrote my mate, so she’s amazing.

Angelina: What do you look like? If someone were to play you in a movie, who would it be?

Hudson: Hum, I guess I look like Orlando Bloom, with the stare of Jason Statham and the charm of Ryan Reynolds. (bursts out laughing) that was fun, I’ll be serious now. Who would play me, I’d love Rocky, but Danny DeVito would be awesome as well.

Angelina: What does your voice sound like?

Hudson: From what I’ve been told, deep, rich and sexy.

Angelina: Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?

Hudson: No, but I should. I’ll have a word with my creator.

Angelina: Do you have any annoying habits, quirks, strange mannerisms, or other defining characteristics?

Hudson: I wink a lot because it makes my mate hot.

Angelina: Do you have any physical traits that stand out (such as scars, birthmarks, tattoos, tentacles etc.)? If you have scars, how did you get them? If you have tattoos, why did you get them and what meaning do they have to you?

Hudson: I have a tattooed frame around a scare on my leg, of a bite my mate’s cat side inflicted, when I told her brother we were mates and I’d marry her. Not my best idea but the man is a vampire-dragon shifter alpha and I knew she could hear. Still don’t regret it.

Angelina: Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Hudson: I say my mate a lot, not that it could be overused. Hum, I’ve answered the rest of the questions, and I say no matter, a lot! Who knew?

Angelina: What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Hudson: Wow, that’s a tough question. Becoming an uncle is up there, as is becoming an Overseer. But I’d have to say realizing the hook-up of two years was my mate. I wish the timing had been better, she was being turned into a vampire while the blood of three warriors was injected into her heart. I’ve never felt so f*cking helpless. There was literally nothing I could do to ease her suffering, and then I had to watch her fight. When she accepts we’re mates, that will take the lead, and she will, no matter what she says at the moment.

Angelina: Do you have a girlfriend, boyfriend, a harem etc?

Hudson: My hook-up of the last two years is my mate, one day she’ll realize and we’ll live happily ever after, no matter how much she denies it now. Or she’ll use the rusty old spoon she keeps in her pocket to unman me, (chuckles) not really, she couldn’t seriously hurt no matter how much she wants to.

Angelina: Which person do you wish you were closest to?

Hudson: Apart from my mate, I’d love my sisters and their kids to be closer.

Angelina: Why should the readers pick up your story and where can they get it?

Hudson: Apart from my sparkling wit, (winks and chuckles) my mate is an incredible leader with a beautiful soul few truly get to see. it’s also gonna be really steamy. https://books2read.com/OverseersFierceMate

On Thursday, I’ll share a teaser!

Angelina Monday – What’s my morning routine?

Besides, taking care of the family and pulling them out of bed, think Freaky Friday movie, I start my day with a cup of coffee.

Sadly, my coffee pat has been acting up and it’s going through a cleaning process, so I end up drinking instant coffee. The current instant coffee on hand is – Jacobs.

I really don’t add usually anything to the coffee because I am trying to work on my body. Being fit is important for health and a peace of mind, but if I do have some chocolate milk, I add in a bit for an extra flavor.

While, I wait for the pot to boil water, I open up my email and go through if there’s anything important. I answer messages from fellow authors, and focus on what I need to do in the day.

I usually don’t write in the mornings. My favorite time to write is after 3 p.m.

Yeah, my mornings are boring, but I never miss having a cup of coffee or else I become grouchy. LOL

AUTHOR INTERVIEW FRIDAY – WITH Amber Kestner

Hello! Today with us we have the amazing Amber Kestner! *Applause*

Amber: Honestly, no. I decided to be one for myself. To bring out books that weren’t out in what I was wanting to read.

Angelina: How long does it take for you to write a story?

Amber: 3 to 6 months depending on the story.

Angelina: Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

Amber: This one varies. I am either reading and a story pops up. A movie helps. Or I just randomly have one prepared ahead of time.

Angelina: What does your family think of your writing?

Amber: My parents are supportive. My older brother likes the idea because he also writes and has published some in his state. My younger brother is supportive and has read my books thoroughly enjoys them. My sister doesn’t even care.

Angelina: How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

Amber: 19. She’s My Kind Of Country, it will always be my favorite.

Angelina: Who’s your favorite character you created?

Amber: I would have to say Juliet from A Coffee Shop Romance, her personality makes you question on a lot of emotions to express.

Angelina: Who’s your least favorite character you created?

Amber: Truthfully, Jana Johnson from my Jana & Angel collections. She is difficult and hard to know. Though, Angel Knight is no better with her conflicted personality.

Angelina: Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

Amber: Some times. Most praise me for bringing such good stories and how encouraging my characters are.

Angelina: What do you think makes a good story?

Amber: A good plot. You have to know where you want the story to go and how much you want your characters to face.

Angelina: Tell us about your WIP.

Amber: I have two. One is a Christian Lesbian Romance that will surprise readers with a homophobic priest and also it is biracial (I don’t want to spoil too much.) And another is a Second Chance, Slow Burn, Coming Out, and Enemies To Lovers also includes sibling issues with also heartache from a past love.

Angelina: Thank you for hanging out with us. Please share your social links where readers can follow you.

BOOK CHARACTER INTERVIEW WITH Serenity Eagle Claw, BY M. A. Abraham

Hello! Today with us we have the amazing Serenity Eagle Claw! *Applause*

Angelina: What is your full name? Do you have a nickname (if so, who calls you this)?

Serenity Eagle Claw: I am Serenity Eagle Claw, Dragon General and rider of the white dragon Alleria. I am called this by everyone.

Alleria pokes her head up to look over my shoulder, “It is good I am mentioned, without me, you are just an ordinary elf.”

I retort, “No Eagle Claw is an ordinary elf, you got the best our people have to offer.”

“As is right, considering who I am.”

Angelina: Which book are you from? Who’s your creator and what do you think of him?

Serenity Eagle Claw: I first appeared in Marious’ Story of the Elven Chronicles. Well actually, in Lociel’s Elite Guardian of the Elven Chronicles, but no one knew it was me until into Marious’ Story. My book was King’s Champion. M. A. Abraham created me, and she follows instruction well, for she wrote my character as she was told to.

Angelina: What do you look like? If someone were to play you in a movie, who would it be?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “I have long dark hair, and am considered to be one of the fairest women in the Elven Empire. Alleria is a powerful dragon, none are better.”

Angelina: What does your voice sound like?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “I have a soft, melodic voice, unless I get really angry. Then I let the General I am come out and can sound fierce and firm. No one doubts if I mean what I say then.”

Angelina: Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “My family motto – For the King and Elven Empire!”

Angelina: Do you have any annoying habits, quirks, strange mannerisms, or other defining characteristics?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “I am very protective of those I love. I was also taught how to defend myself by my brothers, so I wouldn’t be taken advantage of by anyone who refuses to accept my boundaries. I fear little in the world I live in.”

Angelina: Do you have any physical traits that stand out (such as scars, birthmarks, tattoos, tentacles etc.)? If you have scars, how did you get them? If you have tattoos, why did you get them and what meaning do they have to you?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “I am the only dark haired elf in my family. I don’t consider my differences from humans and others as features that stick out. Although humans might consider my pointed ears and elven eyes as different.”

Angelina: Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “I am more a woman of action more than one of words.”

Angelina: What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “The day I was chosen to ride the White Dragon, Alleria. It is the day I became the Dragon General.. It isn’t in the book, but I expect it to be in the future.”

Angelina: Do you have a girlfriend, boyfriend, a harem etc?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “My Life Mate, Torrent. He was/is the Warrior Champion of the High Elven Kingdom.”

Angelina: Which person do you wish you were closest to?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “I am close to all those I want to be. Torrent is my Life Mate, so he features the highest in my list, but the one I connect with the most because of our positions in the Empire is my nephew, the High Lord General Gabriel Eagle Claw.”

Angelina: Why should the readers pick up your story and where can they get it?

Serenity Eagle Claw: “Where should I start? To meet Alleria? To see how far Torrent will go to win my hand? To get to know more about the world I live in? To see why we live as we do? To see how we live and love? There are many reasons.

As for where to find my story in the series, this is the easiest way to get there. Pick a venue and click on the link.”
